Babydoll Southdown sheep are kept as fiber-producers, pets, and 4-H projects. These sheep are increasingly popular as cost-efficient weeders in orchards and vineyards. Many of our sheep now work in vineyards in California. Click this link to see them in action, courtesy of our friends at Navarro Vineyards & Winery: Sheepish Wine Labor |

Dylan was our first ram, from John Standish. He was a triplet, small in size, with a wonderful docile personality. We specifically bred him for these traits. Sadly, he passed in 2009. But his progeny lives on...

Bram (left) is Dylan's son from a small "Hapsburg" ewe. Like Dylan, Bram has a docile nature. He is shown here with Buddy, Dylan's grandson. Buddy is a quadruplet, and multiples run in this line.
